Bonissimo's sire, Donner Bube, is an imported Oldenburg. His
grandsire Donnerhall was a top dressage competitor winning
medals in World and European Championships, Horse of the
Year honors and acclaim as a sire. The Donnerhall offspring
have often been the high sellers at auctions. Donner Bube's
dam line is just as strong as his sire line. Pik Bube 1 is a
top sire of jumpers, dressage mounts, approved sons and Main
studbook mares.
Falou is by the show jumper, Lemgo, and
therefore a granddaughter of the influentual Landgraf I. Her
dam is by Wedekind, a Ferdinand son, and out of a mare by
Argentan, who is the sire of Argentinus - sire of jumpers
Arko III, Anka 191 etc. and the broodmare sire of Quantum
Tyme in Dressage.
Bonissimo is tall elegant and kind. She was started by Angie
Golley and knows some dressage! She is a very uncomplicated
mare who loves being around people and loves to please. She
has the same rhythm all the time over any of the jumps - 2ft
6 to 3ft 6. I think she would make a good
eventer as she is bold and faces up to any jumps.
